Hatha Yoga

Stephanie’s Hatha Yoga practice is energetically aligned with prana, the “universal life force” that yokes all things. Her heart centered approach to teaching yoga is guided from a place of patience, acceptance, and trauma awareness. High Prana Yoga is a feeling experience that utilizes intention, breath work, and nurturing guidance. This allows the student to flow in and out of postures with energetic pauses that connect the student further into their inner wisdom. Stephanie is committed to teaching with the awareness that yoga is available to all bodies – props, modifications, guided meditation, and sound healing tools are tools offered to support this intention.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep is a true practice of non-doing. Yoga Nidra is the easiest form of yoga you will ever do. The student is gently guided inward – a journey of the self, through the self, to the self. In this ancient practice, rest and relaxation is key. Following the IAM Yoga* method, intention, breath work, gentle guided meditation, and positive affirmation allow the student to withdraw from the busy mind and find a place of peaceful knowing within. From this place of relaxation, the nervous system calms, emotional resilience builds, the body begins to heal, and the spirit aligns. Studies have shown, this highly restorative practice can be equivalent to 4 hours of restful sleep. Think of Yoga Nidra as a “spiritual power nap”.

Sound Healing

Sound Healing Sessions are gentle, non-impact, and highly restorative. Sacred Sounds such as the gong, Tibetan singing bowls, crystal tuning bowls, Tingsha bells, and Koshi wind chimes are all used to create vibration and frequency. Sessions include intention setting, breath work, and gentle micro movements that sets the foundation for passive receiving. From a grounded place of calm, the student can withdraw from the busy mind and align with the vibration and frequency that automatically offers relaxation. Clients report greater self awareness, clarity, with improvements in physical wellbeing and peace. Calm the mind. Heal the body. Raise your vibration with sound.
